A good example of the ribbing was on one occasion she was weighing up whether to spend money on a cruise. I jokingly suggested that a much better use would be paying for me to follow The Lions Rugby tour to Australia in 2013. She demurred but I pointed out that the benefit would be me out of the country for some time. Quick as a flash she replied ' yes but you'd come back' So funny and now a treasured memory.
